Call for Proposals: United Nations Voluntary Trust Fund for Victims of Trafficking in Persons

Established in 2010, the UNVTF is a singular initiative underneath the United Nations Global Plan of Action to Combat Trafficking in Persons. It is devoted to offering direct support to victims of trafficking, with a deal with essentially the most susceptible populations. Small Grants Program 2025

The UNVTF Small Grants Program is a worldwide initiative supporting not-for-profit organizations that present direct help to trafficking victims. The grants deal with quick and long-term restoration, together with well being, authorized, instructional, and psychosocial companies.

• Sexual exploitation.
• Forced labor and organ elimination.
• Forced begging or legal actions.
• Child trafficking in sports activities or recruitment into armed teams.
• Forced marriage and manufacturing of pornographic materials.

What We Support

The program prioritizes actions with measurable outcomes, reminiscent of:

• Medical care and psychosocial help.
• Immediate shelter, meals, and clothes.
• Legal support and illustration for standing or treatment.
• Vocational coaching and teaching programs.
• Support for household reunification and voluntary repatriation.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible Organizations

Applicants should:

• Be a registered non-profit group (NGO, CSO, or CBO).
• Demonstrate two+ years of expertise in offering sufferer help.
• Be registered in the UN Partner Portal (UNPP) and have a checking account in the group’s title.

Eligible Projects

Proposals should:

• Address precedence points and goal populations outlined in the decision.
• Be time-bound, with a finite goal that delivers measurable outcomes.
• Exclude ineligible actions (e.g., research-only tasks, capital expenditures, or campaigns exceeding 10% of the funds).

Funding Guidelines

• Overhead prices: Capped at 10% of the overall funds.
• Ineligible Costs:
  • Direct money transfers to victims.
  • Purchase of land, buildings, or automobiles.
  • Debts, curiosity owed, or taxes reclaimable underneath native legislation.

Important Notes

• Only one application per group is allowed.
• Handwritten submissions or functions requiring password entry won’t be accepted.
• Applications lacking obligatory paperwork can be rejected.
