JOB PURPOSE
This function holder is accountable for helping Manager, Finance in making certain compliance with IFRS 17 requirements and offering correct monetary reporting and evaluation. In addition, this function is accountable for making ready monetary experiences and analyses with the intention to facilitate Senior Management determination making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Core Responsibilities
Implementation and Compliance
 Leads or helps the publish implementation integration of IFRS 17 requirements throughout the group.
 Ensures that every one monetary reporting processes and methods are aligned with IFRS 17 necessities.
 Monitors modifications in IFRS 17 rules and assesses their affect on monetary reporting practices.
Financial Reporting
 Prepares and analyses monetary statements, in accordance with IFRS.

Data Management and Analysis

 Prepares and presents experiences on IFRS 17 implementation progress and compliance standing to administration.
 Prepares month-to-month reconciliations.
Continuous Improvement
 Recommends and implements enhancements to monetary reporting processes and methods to boost effectivity and accuracy in IFRS 17 reporting.
 Stays up to date with rising tendencies and developments in IFRSs and Takaful accounting.
Special Projects
 Participates in ad-hoc initiatives and initiatives as assigned by administration.
 Contributes to course of enhancements and organizational progress.
Other Responsibilities
 The function holder may also carry out duties pertinent to the Department/Division as assigned by his line supervisor.

Nature of Experience
 Prior expertise in Finance, in managing and dealing with monetary accounting operations from monetary, insurance coverage, reinsurance and banking establishments.

Professional Certifications (as relevant)
 Relevant certifications equivalent to CPA / CA preferable.
Business Language Skills
 Good command of written and spoken English important, further languages equivalent to Arabic, French is an added benefit.
