Canada Innovates is proud to work with the Canadian Women’s Foundation to host the Women Founders Investment Preparedness program in help of ladies, gender numerous founders and social goal organizations navigating making ready for social funding.

Women Founders is a program that focuses on supporting ladies and gender-diverse people with entrepreneurial and enterprise expertise to start out and develop a profitable enterprise. The Women Founders program will help entrepreneurs with important enterprise expertise and data, specializing in management, entrepreneurship, and sensible enterprise administration.

Benefits

• Canada Innovates and the Canadian Women’s Foundation will present entry to mentorship, experience on funding preparedness, and an investor accomplice community to help the entrepreneurs’ enterprise progress and fundraising objectives.

Eligibility

• You are an entrepreneur who self identifies as a lady and/or gender numerous and have and/or need to incorporate a brand new enterprise in Canada.
• You are a corporation (enterprise/not for revenue/social enterprise) that’s led by a lady and/or gender numerous people trying to turn out to be funding prepared.
• You can decide to establishing a Roadmap with traction and income objectives for what you are promoting between September and December.
• You need to work on and/or have a sustainable enterprise mannequin with potential for market progress.
• You need to strengthen your self-advocacy, partnership, and funding preparedness methods to maintain what you are promoting objectives.
