UN OHCHR-EAA Youth Rights Academy 2025 (Funded to Geneva)

Applications are open for the UN OHCHR-EAA Youth Rights Academy 2025. In the framework of the undertaking ‘Working with and for youth in vulnerable situations including conflict, violence, and insecurity’, OHCHR and Education Above All (EAA) are organizing a Youth Rights Academy, that may happen in Geneva from 7 to 11 July 2025.

The Youth Rights Academy is aimed toward constructing capacities of younger advocates and practitioners engaged on human rights, notably within the contexts of battle and insecurity. It will discover definitions, ideas, and frameworks associated to the human rights of younger individuals and related points and empower individuals to use advocacy and different instruments to promote human rights of their communities.

Costs

• Organisers will cowl bills of individuals associated to their journey and keep in Geneva in the course of the academy.

Eligibility

• Open to 18-30 years outdated (as of seven July 2025).
• Minimum 2 years of expertise in advocating for human rights, together with the rights of younger individuals, at native, nationwide, regional, or worldwide stage.
• Provision of a reference letter from an expert or private contact testifying to the candidate’s advocacy and human rights work (template here).
• English language proficiency (working stage). The Academy will likely be held completely in English, with no interpretation offered.
