World Press Photo Contest 2025 for Professional Photographers

Applications are open for the World Press Photo Contest 2025. The annual World Press Photo Contest acknowledges and celebrates the very best photojournalism and documentary pictures produced over the past yr.

The 2025 World Press Photo Contest works with 6 worldwide areas – Africa; West, Central, and South Asia; Europe; North and Central America; South America; and Asia Pacific and Oceania. Categories

As a winner, your work can be:

Eligibility

• Open to skilled photographers working within the discipline of journalism and/or documentary pictures. Every entrant wants to offer a doc with a sound date that confirms their present skilled standing.
