The Chronicle of Philanthropy, a number one nonprofit information group centered on advancing the social good, is proud to announce its annual Philanthropy & Nonprofit Accountability Fellowship. This initiative helps native newsrooms in enhancing their protection of philanthropy and nonprofits of their communities.

Fellowship Overview

Each 12 months, 4 native information organizations are chosen for the Fellowship Program, which gives:

  • $30,000 funding to strengthen reporting on nonprofits and philanthropy.
  • Collaboration with Chronicle reporters to develop and publish impactful tales.
  • Training alternatives with companions just like the Associated Press, whose expanded philanthropy staff is funded by means of a grant from the Lilly Endowment.

  • A timeline for the year-long undertaking.
  • PDFs of two examples of your newsroom’s finest reporting.
  • A signed letter out of your high editor authorizing participation.

Fellows will:
