Teachers Cannot Wait: Open Call for Proposals to Support Teachers in Crisis Contexts at ECW


Overview:

  • Objective: ECW’s (Education Cannot Wait) Acceleration Facility seeks proposals to help academics in Education in Emergencies and Protracted Crises (EiEPC).
  • Goal: Strengthen trainer help programs in each formal and non-formal settings to guarantee high quality, inclusive schooling for youngsters and youth.

Objectives of the Grant:

  • Accelerate help for academics in EiEPC contexts.
  • Deliver three interconnected workstreams aimed at strengthening trainer help.

Workstreams:

  1. Synthesizing Evidence & Best Practices:
    • Analyze and synthesize evidence-based promising practices.
    • Provide suggestions to inform ECW’s work and different workstreams.
  2. Advancing Systems Strengthening:
    • Support trainer capacities at nationwide or sub-national ranges.
    • Focus on a subset of MYRP nations.
  3. Global Report & Advocacy Products:
    • Develop and launch a world report on academics in EiEPC by 2027.
    • Create extra advocacy merchandise.

Who Can Apply:

  • Eligible Applicants: Consortiums or a number of companions.
    • One group should be nominated because the lead.
    • Lead associate will need to have experience in trainer help in EiEPC.
    • Must have capability to sub-grant to native and nationwide organizations.
  • Key Focus:
    • Prioritize the actual lived experiences of academics, significantly feminine academics.
    • Recognize academics as professionals and amplify their voices throughout all workstreams.

Proposal Submission Deadline:
