The Office of the Chief Science Advisor is asking on formidable and motivated younger Canadians to apply for the third cohort of the Chief Science Advisor’s Youth Council (CSA-YC). This is your probability to form the way forward for science coverage in Canada!

Who Should Apply?
The CSA-YC is wanting for younger leaders aged 18-28, who’re:
- Passionate about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) and their influence on society. (A STEM diploma is just not required.)
- Canadian residents or everlasting residents.
Why Join?
Youth Council members will:
- Provide priceless insights and balanced views to the Chief Science Advisor of Canada (CSA).
- Represent various teams and lift vital questions and points on their behalf.
- Contribute to discussions on key challenges dealing with Canada’s science group.
- Advise and take part in the CSA’s outreach actions.
What to Expect?
- A two-year time period beginning in summer season 2025.
- Virtual conferences and an annual in-person retreat in Ottawa.
- A time dedication of not more than 15 hours monthly.
- Opportunities to have interaction in bilingual discussions (information of each official languages is an asset).
