About the Program
Entrepreneurship drives Uganda’s economic system, with 35.5% of the labor power engaged in entrepreneurial actions. Selected members will be part of a 10-week Business Sprint from February to April 2025, designed to validate impactful tasks tailor-made to native wants. Successful members will pitch for funding to pilot their options and scale their impression.

Business Sprint Highlights
The 10-week hybrid program offers:
- Kick-Off Bootcamp in Kampala: Two days of staff constructing, networking, and mentoring.
- Weekly Digital Workshops: Covering Market Analysis, Customer Segmentation, Product Development, Financial Planning, and extra.
- Tailored Mentoring: Personalized help to set targets and actionable milestones.
- Final Event: Present refined proposals, pitch for funding, and study from friends.
Funding and Support
Participants who full the dash can be eligible to obtain:
- Funding: €30,000–€50,000 to pilot options from July 2025 to July 2026.
- Non-Financial Support: Mentorship and entry to the Team Up community for additional growth.
Areas of Focus
Participants should handle a minimum of considered one of the following areas:
- Climate and Environmental Solutions: Innovations selling sustainability and ecological preservation.
- Health and Well-Being: Solutions bettering well being outcomes for rural communities, particularly youth and girls.
- Socio-Economic Opportunities: Initiatives creating jobs, growing abilities, and opening new markets.
Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, your social enterprise should:
- Be registered in Uganda with a deal with rural markets (ideally in Mityana, Kassanda, Nakaseke, Kyegegwa, or Kikuube).
- Have been operational for a minimum of three years with a confirmed observe file of serving paying clients.
- Demonstrate a clear social or environmental mission.
- Have a succesful staff able to implement the proposed answer.
- Not be concerned in litigation or beneath contract with Siemens Stiftung.
Special Consideration:
Submissions from female-led and youth-led enterprises or organizations addressing gender and youth challenges are extremely inspired.
