Purpose
Columbia Global goals to foster world engagement and advance data to deal with advanced world challenges by way of interdisciplinary analysis, schooling, collaboration, and motion. We invite full-time college and researchers at Columbia University to apply for funding to interact with a number of of the Columbia Global Centers throughout Spring or Summer 2025. Projects might concentrate on:
- Planning, implementation, and/or dissemination of analysis.
- Development or planning of academic experiences for Columbia college students (e.g., world studying or travel-study excursions).
- Organizing occasions that foster collaboration between Columbia and native, regional, or world companions.
- Strengthening or exploring partnerships with native establishments, non-profits, or governments to advance collaborative initiatives.
Eligibility
- Open to full-time college or researchers at Columbia University, together with Officers of Instruction and Officers of Research (adjuncts or visiting college will not be eligible).
- Previous expertise within the nation/area or with the Global Centers will not be required.

The Columbia Global Centers are the University’s bodily and mental gateways to the world. With 11 facilities positioned throughout 4 continents, the Centers function hubs for analysis, schooling, coaching, and collaboration. They present transformative connections that deepen world dialogue, foster innovation, and construct impactful partnerships with native establishments.
Program Benefits
- Up to $5,000 for journey, lodging, and project-related bills.

Residency Duration: 2 to eight weeks.
Application Process
Applications have to be submitted through the Submittable Platform by December 2, 2024 at 11:59pm EDT. Award notifications are anticipated in January 2025.
