The Center for Engagement and Advocacy in the Americas (CEDA) presents seasonal paid, digital internship alternative for candidates enthusiastic about constructing optimistic relations between the U.S. and Latin America. Former interns have gone on to pursue careers in numerous fields similar to politics, journalism, legislation, and academia. Internship Areas:
- Policy and Advocacy
- Communications and Social Media
- Nonprofit Development
Intern Duties:
- Draft and edit the U.S.-Cuba News Brief and different communication supplies
- Monitor and report on related laws and coverage developments
- Attend and report on occasions, talks, and congressional hearings
- Manage and replace CEDA’s web site, social media, and databases
- Assist with creating social media graphics and making ready mail/e mail campaigns
- Perform administrative duties as wanted
Requirements:
- Current undergraduate, current graduate, or Master’s pupil
- Interest in Latin America, notably Cuba, Mexico, Central America, and Venezuela
- Proficiency in Spanish and Google Suite applications
- Strong organizational, communication, and social media expertise
- Ability to work 15-20 hours every week (digital internship)
- Internships final 2-4 months, with the risk of educational credit score
