Leverhulme Trust Doctoral Scholarships | Call for Applications: Leverhulme PhD scholarship 2024
For an ethnographic project on sanctuary, arts, and resilience
There are two types of projects in this program: supervisor-led projects are ideas submitted by supervisory teams (two or three academic staff from different Schools), to which prospective students then apply; student-led projects are ideas submitted by prospective students themselves. Choose an advertised project that looks exciting, or pitch your own idea – it’s up to you.
Benefits:
- Each cohort has availability for six students.
- Four spots are available to UK-domiciled students; one spot is available for an international (non-UK) student;
- And one spot is for a student on a “Master’s+Doctorate” track. All studentships are fully funded (fees and maintenance) for four years, with a dedicated “research support and training grant” of £2500 per year.
- Funding support matches current UKRI base rates. The “Master’s+Doctorate” track is fully funded for five years, to cover the cost of the master’s degree.
Note that funds for the “Master’s + Doctorate” track are ring-fenced for supporting UK students from underrepresented groups.
