Applications are now open for the University of Bristol Scholarship for 2024. The University of Bristol, located in the vibrant city of Bristol, England, is renowned for its exceptional research facilities and academic excellence. To further its commitment towards internationalization and diversity, the university has announced a significant investment of £500,000 towards supporting the education of exceptional international students. The project takes the shape of two financed initiatives for students who intend to enroll in courses beginning in 2024: the Think Big Undergraduate Scholarships and the Think Big Postgraduate Scholarships.
The Think Big Undergraduate Scholarships will be awarded to exceptional international students who are planning to undertake undergraduate studies at the University of Bristol. This funding will cover up to 30% of the tuition fees for the course duration.
International students who have finished their undergraduate degrees and intend to pursue postgraduate studies at the University of Bristol will be given the Think Big Postgraduate Scholarships. Up to 50% of the course tuition will be paid for by this financing.

International students can apply for all full-time undergraduate programs (except medicine, dentistry, and veterinary science) or any one-year, full-time postgraduate program.
Benefits of the Program
For Undergraduate Award:
International students can apply for funding towards tuition fees and living costs.
- Tuition Fee: Undergraduate programs are valued at £6,500 and £13,000 per year towards tuition fees.
- Living Stipend: Applicants may also be eligible to receive a £3,000 living cost.
For the Postgraduate Award:
International students can apply for funding towards tuition fees and living costs.
- Tuition Fee: Undergraduate programs are valued at £6,500, £13,000, and £26,000 per year towards tuition fees.
Note: If you apply for this, you are also automatically considered for any other University of Bristol international scholarships that you are eligible for. You do not need to submit two separate applications.
Available Study Fields
Undergraduate: Any full-time Undergraduate program (except Medicine, Dentistry, and Veterinary Science)
Postgraduate: Any one-year, full-time postgraduate program or one of the eligible two-year programs—Social Work (MSc) and Law (MA)—offered at the university.
Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants from all countries can apply.
- You do not need to have received an offer to study before submitting an international application.
- Have applied to an eligible degree program.
- To be eligible for the Think Big Scholarship at the University of Bristol, applicants should meet the following criteria:
- – Applicants are required to seek admission to undergraduate courses, with the exception of medicine, dentistry, and veterinary science.
- – Applicants must be international students and should not hold UK citizenship.
- – Students should not be recipients of any other scholarships or funding.
- – For those interested in postgraduate courses, the scholarship is applicable to Social Science and Law programs.
- – International students should demonstrate strong academic performance and other notable achievements.
- – Applicants must have the status of overseas fee-paying students.
- – Additionally, they are expected to meet the English proficiency requirements.
