The Presidential Conditional Grant to Nano Businesses (Federal Government fg Palliative Grant Nigeria) , an initiative of the Presidential Palliative Programme, has officially begun, with great pleasure from the Federal Government of Nigeria.
About The Fg Palliative Grant scheme
The goal of the N50,000.00 (fifty thousand naira) grant is to support one million nanobusinesses across the 774 local government areas. The grant amount is per beneficiary. The Federal Government will work with the State Governments, House of Representative Members, Senators, Honourable Ministers, and NASME (Nigerian Association of Small and Medium Enterprises) to shortlist the beneficiaries from their constituents using the Federal Government’s selection criteria below.
The target beneficiaries are divided as follows: 15% goes to other demographics, 10% go to individuals with disabilities, 5% are old persons, and 70% are women and young people.

The Scheme’s Target Sectors
The businesses that can apply for the plan are listed below.
- Dealers
These include tiny traders, corner store proprietors, lone retail marketers, and market men and women in public marketplaces.
- Catering Services
Among them are vendors of food and vegetables.
- I.T.
These consist of call centre representatives, battery chargers, business centre operators, and suppliers of recharge cards.
- Moving
Wheelbarrow pushers and freelance dispatch riders are among them.
- Artisans
These include dry cleaners, fashion designers, and cosmetics artists.
- Craftspeople
They consist of shoemakers, vulcanizers, painters, and repairers.
