JOB SUMMARY:
- In order to achieve the goals of the company, the driver will effectively facilitate staff and customer transportation.
ESSENTIAL ACTIVITIES:
- Help the staff as needed with official transportation and dispatching tasks to necessary locations.
- Facilitate office Field Operations Staff transportation when doing home visits and outreach initiatives
- When necessary, help the employees load and unload products so that clients can receive them.
- Keep the level of service to both internal and external guests excellent.
- Ensure on-time arrival and a secure journey.
- observing the nation’s laws and regulations on traffic and the roads.
- Make sure that safe driving procedures, such as locally accepted norms and driving laws, are followed.
- Keep the car’s inside and outside tidy.

- Make sure the car has regular/daily maintenance inspections: check the batteries, brakes, tires, oil, and water.
- Set up routine auto maintenance appointments and notify anyone of any problems.
- Make sure that auto repairs are performed in accordance with official manufacturer specifications.
- Plan and arrange additional repairs, and keep an inventory of spare components for vehicles.
- Create and submit a vehicle monitoring report that includes information on the use, maintenance, costs, and miles of each vehicle.
- Keep track of official travel, daily miles, petrol usage, and oil changes as needed.
- During your time working at the office, assist the operations manager and other office personnel with chores like filing and photocopying.
- handling mail, transporting commodities and letters, carrying packages and parcels, and, when needed, delivering and collecting formal documents.
- Ensure that the delivery book has a record of all deliveries made.
- Create monthly reports for the specific car that was given to him.
COMPETENCES & REQUIREMENTS:
- With at least a Grade C, secondary school education is preferred.
- a clean driving record and a valid class B, C1, D1, D2, or D3 license
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience operating 4WD vehicles, Nissan Vans, and school buses is required.
- Flexibility and the capacity to fill in for other drivers when necessary are prerequisites.
- English and Kiswahili inter-personal communication skills, both written and spoken, are essential.
- Must be well-versed about Nairobi and its surroundings.
- A benefit is having some basic mechanical understanding.
- should be capable of defensive driving.
