- To facilitate data management for WFP cash programs and to report on data analysis
(Not all-inclusive) KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Working with the Programme Team in the WFP Egypt Country Office, the Data Analyst/Architect will implement the following in support of the Cash-Based Transfers operations:
- favourable data management.
- Implement data management for Cash Base Transfers and support the definition.
- Data flows and current systems inside WFP CO on beneficiary information (identities, enrolment, payment, reconciliation, and monitoring), as well as with external databases, are mapped.
- Secure data repositories should be established and maintained.
- Platforms for safe data exchange that enable partners and financial service providers to send and receive reports, as well as upload and access beneficiary information from multiple sources.
- reconcile and report beneficiary data, including user roles and access restrictions.
- Depending on the requirements of the programs, generate reports such as Monthly Payment List Memo, Reload Memo, Reconciliation Memo, and any other reports.
- Deduplication: Determine the deduplication requirements (for both internal and external/government lists) based on the data and processes currently in use.
- assistance with various data analysis activities for the exercises in data management, data management, and vulnerability-based targeting.
- In order to enhance, streamline, and harmonize the flow of operational information dashboards, support the implementation of data management efforts, including mapping of data sources and user requirements.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR STANDARDS
- Education: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in information systems, information management, computer science, statistics, economics, or a related discipline.
- Experience in data management of at least five years, with increasing responsibility.
- Language: Ability to communicate well in Arabic and English, both orally and in writing.
- PREFERRED EXPERIENCES FOR APPLICATION TO THE ROLE
- excellent data science knowledge.
- excellent knowledge of operational program data requirements in complicated contexts.
- programming and reporting for Cash Based Transfers are well understood.
- knowledge of reporting and data analysis
- data management experience spanning at least five years, with increasing responsibility.
- demonstrated knowledge of, enthusiasm for, or expertise in humanitarian and development activities.
- experience with data system design, setup, and execution.

GRAPHICS AND CONDITIONS
- Fixed-term appointment: a position that is held for a continuous period of one year, has a set termination date, and is subject to a probationary period of one year that may be increased to 18 months.
- Annual Net Pay Salary: in accordance with the national salary scale at the time.
- Employee Evaluation On gross salaries and other payments that are calculated based on salaries, a staff assessment similar to national income tax shall be levied. The FAO Administrative Manual’s rates must be used to determine the assessment.
- Children under the age of 18 or those enrolled full-time in school up to the age of 21 are eligible for dependency allowances.
- A 7.9% deduction will be imposed from the net wage for the United Nations Joint Pension Fund, while the WFP will contribute 15.8%.
- Medical Insurance: required for employees and cost-sharing is available for dependents.
- Two days per month for sick leave and 2.5 days annually
- Ten days have been designated as holidays at each duty station.
