The Sustain subject of CTM 2024 will be explored by entries to the RND 2024 open call, which is looking for creative and insightful work from all fields of study.
The Research Networking Day is a forum for interaction between graduate and postgraduate students, as well as freelance artists working on independent projects and doing independent research in the areas of music, sound, arts, media, design, and associated theoretical topics.
The Berlin University of the Arts (UdK), the Institute Art Gender Nature at the FHNW Academy of Art and Design Basel, Paderborn University, and the Berlin-based network and project space Trust will all collaborate on this RND issue. The event is free to attend. The event is free to attend.
Conditions for Research Networking Day Presentations Open Call 2024
- Within the festival’s Discourse programming, presentations must take place live (as opposed to via video lecture) and in English.
- Unfortunately, they are unable to provide any assistance for travel or lodging like they have in the past. A CTM 2024 festival pass, a catered lunch on the day of the presentations, and a group dinner are provided for participants.

- By the end of October 2023, the RND programme will be released. CTM 2024 Sustain will run from 26 January to 4 February 2024; the precise date of RND presentations is to be determined.
