The Chartered Accountants Academy of the National Treasury provides trainees with a three-year full-time training contract that will give them the chance to improve their Professional Values, Attitudes, and Acumens (PVAA) proficiency in order to pursue the Chartered Accountancy CA(SA) profession.

Programme of instruction:
- In order to fill the skills gap in the sector, candidates are urged to apply for the programme and will be exposed to the public sector.
- While advancing their technical and PVAA skills, trainees will have the chance to participate in efforts for policy formulation and be at the forefront of the change of financial management.
Essential Conditions
- Written the Initial Test of Competence (ITC) in January 2024 with a Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) or an equivalent qualification that satisfies SAICA standards.
- Candidates who are pursuing CTA or a final year of an equivalent qualification are eligible to apply.
- evidence of academic success.
