If yes, enter the ‘A Europe We Trust: Visions of European Youth’ creative competition hosted by EnTrust.
Application
- We accept entries in a visual manner, such as a picture that captures your idea in a drawing, painting, or photograph. We also accept textual contributions like essays or opinion pieces if a visual submission is not feasible for you. Please refer to the guidelines for more details on the submission requirements.
Rewards
- In January 2024, winners will be invited to Brussels for an awards ceremony and a tour of the EU institutions.

Your submission need to be based on your outlook for Europe’s future. You may get inspiration from one or more of the following topics:
- Equality, inclusivity, and accessibility: How do you picture a more equitable, open, and accessible Europe for young people?
- Youth Participation, Representation, and Open Discussion in the EU: How might Europe change if young people had a more active role in decision-making?
- How do you picture a future Europe where all young people play a part in sustainability and climate action? How about youth empowerment in rural areas?
- Mental Health and Well-Being: How would Europe change if it gave mental health and wellbeing more priority?
- What would Europe look like if all young people had equal access to the job market, had respectable working conditions, and received a livable wage?
Eligibility
- Young individuals residing in any of the 27 EU Member States as well as EU candidate nations are eligible to enter the competition. You have a choice between entering alone or with others. In November 2023, three winners will be chosen and revealed.
Where should I submit, and when?
- Use this form to give us your submission. We also want you to share a little bit about who you are and what you do. The application must be completed in English. Submissions must be received by October 31 at 17:00 CET.

- The EnTrust project, a multidisciplinary and international research endeavour devoted to offering fresh perspectives on trust and mistrust in governance and steps to support sustainable and democratic societies in Europe, is the context for “A Europe we Trust: Visions of European Youth.” It comprises of a group of seven research teams coordinated by the German University of Siegen.
