Deadline: October 13th 2023 | University of Western Cape Mastercard Foundation Scholars Plan
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme has the University of Western Cape Mastercard Foundation Scholars Plan as an implementing partner. The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Programme, which was established in 2012, is a global initiative that aims to create the next generation of transformative leaders by empowering young people with exceptional talent and a commitment to service, primarily in Africa, to pursue higher education and develop their leadership potential. Young people whose access to higher education is restricted by social and economic hurdles are the specific focus of the Scholars Programme. Young women, refugees, and youngsters who have been forcibly relocated are given special attention by the programme, and these groups are urged to apply.
