Parents and guardians should be aware that providing false information could exclude them from the Coca-Cola Scholars Program. Falsification comprises the creation, submission, or alteration of application materials by a person other than the named applicant.

Summary of Phase 1’s Steps:
- Make a Login
- Make a Profile
- Complete and submit the eligibility quiz (refresh the application page to see the results; check your email).
- (If appropriate) Complete and submit the entire Phase 1 Application by Monday, October 2, 5 p.m. Eastern time.
- Create your Log-in and Profile by clicking “Sign Up” to the right to get started. We strongly advise using the same email address throughout this program, both when setting up your log-in and when creating your profile later on. This email address should not be one associated with your school. The delivery of mails from the coca-cola.com domain is frequently blocked by school firewalls. If you must use a school-provided email, make sure to frequently check the junk/spam folders.
required criteria for applicants
- Students who are currently in high school or who are homeschooled and who are enrolled in one of the 50 U.S. states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or particular DoD schools and who will graduate from high school in the 2023–2024 academic year are not eligible for this award; neither are people who have already completed high school.
- According to the criteria used by the U.S. Department of Education for eligibility for federal financial aid, U.S. citizens (not temporary residents), U.S. nationals, U.S. permanent residents, refugees, asylees, Cuban-Haitian entrants, OR humanitarian parolees are eligible.
- You intend to seek a degree at a U.S. college or university that is recognized
Candidates cannot include:
- Children or grandchildren of current Coca-Cola bottling company owners, officers, or workers, or of subsidiaries or divisions of The Coca-Cola Company
- Recipients of retirement benefits from Coca-Cola bottling firms, The Coca-Cola Company, Company divisions or subsidiaries who are the offspring or grandchildren of former employees, officers or owners of those organizations
- Students who have graduated from a college or university outside of the District of Columbia, the 50 states of the United States, or Puerto Rico are not eligible for this award, with the exception of those who attend certain DoD institutions. This is true even if they meet the citizenship requirements listed above.
- Graduates of high school (you are ineligible if you obtained your high school diploma before the 2023–2024 academic year)
- Temporary Residents (you are ineligible if your country of legal permanent residence is not the United States)
