Deadline: Applications close Oct. 15 at 4 p.m. | Daniels Fund is now accepting scholarship applications for the Class of 2024
For the famous Daniels Scholarship Program, applications are currently being accepted.
Outstanding students from Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming are given scholarships each year by the Daniels Fund to attend any two- or four-year nonprofit college or university in the nation. Those scholarships could pay for all related expenses, depending on the school a student chooses.
Selected students exhibit outstanding character, leadership, and a dedication to giving back to their communities. About 200 scholarships are planned to be given out by the foundation in March to graduates of the Class of 2024.

High school students in Colorado Springs were surprised with one of the state’s most sought-after awards.
According to Hanna Skandera, president and chief executive officer of the Daniels Fund, “Bill Daniels believed that for young people with great potential, strong character, and big dreams, a great education can be life-changing.” “We look forward to assisting the upcoming leaders and the positive contributions they will make with this chance.”
Daniels donated $1.1 billion to create his namesake fund after his passing in 2000. According to the press release, the fund has since given more than 5,000 scholars more than $250 million

For selected partner colleges in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming, the scholarship is a full ride. On the Daniels Fund website, you may see a list of the current partners.
For educational expenditures, students attending non-partner schools within the fund’s four-state zone may receive up to $30,000 over four years, and students attending non-partner schools outside of that region may receive up to $100,000 over four years.

qualifications for applicants:
- be a high school senior about to graduate.
- dwell in one of the four states covered by Daniels Fund.
- being an American citizen or lawful permanent resident.
- Obtain a high school grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 unweighted scale.
- Earn a minimum ACT score of 18 in each category (writing score not necessary), or a minimum SAT math score of 490, as well as evidence-based reading and writing scores of 490.
- The applicant’s parents or legal guardians must claim the application as a dependant on their 2022 tax return and have an adjusted gross income of $100,000 or less.
