Deadline: April 28th 2023 : South Africa’s BASA PESP4 Funding Programme
South Africa’s BASA PESP4 Funding Programme is open to registered small and micro companies in the cultural and creative industries, according to a release from Business and Arts South Africa NPC (BASA).
With an emphasis on shared value, the South Africa’s BASA PESP4 Funding Programme intends to open up opportunities in the creative and cultural industries. The President and the Department of Sport, Arts, and Culture (DSAC) are responsible for it. With the establishment of more than 550,000 jobs and livelihood chances, in addition to more that are now being implemented, PESP has shown the government’s ability to boost public employment and other types of publicly backed support. BASA’s participation in the PESP4 implementation is centred on making sure that the jobs created give participants real-world work experience that will help them on their paths into a larger labour market and prepare them to be “work-ready” when the recovery of the economy offers opportunities that are more long-term.
