To apply for the Marŝarto Awards in 2023, go here. The Marŝarto Awards honor outstanding walking art produced in the previous calendar year. The Awards come to a close in October, just in time for Walktober, a campaign to encourage walking as a creative activity.

From a wide range of creative fields, such as the arts, heritage and history, health and welfare, social practices, journalism, performance, literature and theatre, ecology, tourism, and more, work might cover a number of formats, methodologies, and topics.
Benefits
Those works of walking art that are selected for the shortlist can brag.
The winners and honorable mentions get a tangible prize. A financial award of 250 euros is also given to winners, and 100 euros is given to honorable mentions.
Eligibility
- Anyone who has a walking piece is welcome to apply.
- Work that is submitted must include “walking” as a central theme.
- The walk listen create website will accept any walking piece created in 2022 or 2023. Walks with sound are not permitted.
