Intake for the World Water Challenge 2023 is currently open. An international competition for water solutions is called the World Water Challenge. It has been organized annually in connection with the Korea International Water Week (KIWW) as a follow-up activity to the 7th World Water Forum in 2015 with the goal of identifying pressing water issues the world is now experiencing and coming up with workable solutions.

One of the hallmark initiatives of KIWW 2023 is the World Water Challenge 2023. This ninth edition of the World Water Challenge is anticipated to play a significant role in providing a forum for the exchange of innovative scientific and technological methods as well as policy in order to address the identified water challenges around the world. It is also anticipated to help build a large network among experts and stakeholders in the water sector as well as the wide range of solution providers.
Benefits
Winners will receive the opportunity to attend the WWCH showcase at KIWW 2024 and/or the 10th World Water Forum to present their solutions to international experts.
Eligibility
- Everyone with a passion for water is welcome to take part in the program.
- You may submit an application on your own behalf or on behalf of an organization.
Application
Kindly use the web-based submission mechanism to send in your proposals, solution suppliers. Only after completing the KIWW website’s online registration process may solution submission begin. The solution submission date is August 27, 2023 (KST).
Use the given Solution submission template to ensure that all solutions are submitted in English only. You should send in a second file with a graphical abstract that graphically summarizes your solution (such as a schematic diagram, image, animation, etc.).
