The UN SDSN Nigeria SDGs Advocates Programme 2023 is currently accepting applications. For Nigerian youth, the SDGs Advocate Program is a three-month training and advocacy program. The program consists of over 20 lectures, original readings, and thorough exams.

The strategic goal is to train 100 young people from this cohort, who will then use the special training materials and toolkits to train secondary school students and community organizations. Through the trainers-of-trainers concept, they believe that this initiative will have an influence on more than 100,000 pupils and 5000 members of community groups. The program will put a strong emphasis on influencing people’s awareness about supporting and carrying out sustainable development goals. The course will also emphasize systems and design thinking, problem framing, and how to use the SDGs to look internally to address developmental issues in secondary and postsecondary institutions.

Certification/Awards Eligibility
- Young leaders and performers between the ages of 18 and 35 who are enthusiastic about the realization of the 2030 Agenda are the target audience for this program.
- Candidates may include:
- Providing for Corp Members
- Students in undergraduate polytechnic programs in state, federal, and private universities
- Graduate and postgraduate students at the College of Education.
