A growth program for later-stage fintech businesses with an impact focus on women migrants and women affected by migration is called Financial Innovations for Women Affected by Migration (FIWAM). The Impact-Linked Fund for Gender Inclusive Fintechs (ILF for GIF) and the Impact-Linked Finance Fund handle this program. To encourage fintechs to place a greater emphasis on gender transformative outcomes, the ILF for GIF offers Impact-Linked Finance and technical support.
Over the course of three months, the FIWAM Growth Program will provide tailored technical help to up to 15 companies from each of the following regions: Asia, MENA, and Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Enhances growth: Discover how to expand your firm sustainably utilizing experimental approach and essential growth concepts.
- Increases your influence: by putting in place an impact management system that enables you to measure the appropriate indicators and communicate your impact narrative.
- Strengthens network connections: We connect you with the appropriate people to assist you on your entrepreneurial journey through the vast Seedstars community of mentors, specialists, and international development organizations.
Application Requirements
- Must be a for-profit organization with activities in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), or Asia (even if your business was founded elsewhere but has a strong regional focus).
- Give an example of a fintech solution that helps or could help women who are migrating or who are impacted by migration.
- be in the growth stage and have a product that is market-fit
- Applications from women-led businesses and female immigrant entrepreneurs are strongly welcomed.

ASSESSMENT OF FINANCING
All chosen businesses will go through screening to see if they qualify for funding from the Impact-Linked Fund for Gender-Inclusive Fintech.
