The National Agricultural Research Act of 2005 creates the National Agricultural Research Organisation as a body corporate with the responsibility of setting the country of Uganda’s publicly sponsored agricultural research on a strategic course. The organization is made up of the Council, which serves as its governing body, Committees of the Council, a Secretariat for day-to-day operations, and the Public Agricultural Research Institutes (PARI), which operate with some autonomy under its policy direction. Inviting competent Ugandans to apply for the following open jobs at the NARO Secretariat in Entebbe and the Public Agricultural Research Institutes indicated below, the NARO Governing Council Chairman has issued the following announcement:
