Deadline: 28th February 2023 | Anant Fellowship 2023 for Built Environment (Fully Funded)
An international initiative that trains and equips problem solvers to create, maintain, and protect an equitable built environment. Since 2017, more than 150 Fellows from 6 continents and 18 countries have received training through this one-year residential program. This Fellowship was created to give Fellows a hands-on, immersive learning environment by academic leaders and industry practitioners.

The curriculum is a dynamic combination of disciplines such as urban development and sustainability, art and culture, philosophy, social sciences, science and technology, design thinking, gender studies among others. Over the course of the year, Fellows are challenged to identify, research, design and implement a practical solution to a real-life problem in their local communities.
The World Heritage City of Ahmedabad, Gujarat, in western India, is where AnantU is situated. The city has a long history of beautiful architecture, design, and legacy.
The Program offers ;
The multidisciplinary curriculum offers learning opportunities that widen the perspective of the Fellows and help build relevant skillsets, regardless of their past educational backgrounds and their future goals. The curriculum introduces concepts in the fields of design, architecture, technology, liberal arts and management amongst others.
- Society and Culture
Understanding the built environment through the lens of history, anthropology, ecology, finance and gender.
- Basic Building Environment Concepts
Architectural, urban design, and planning fundamentals.
- Methodology & Language
mapping, analyzing, and communication methods for built environment investigations.
- Development Design
Understanding the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations (UN) in the context of the built environment
- Â Leadership and Self-Growth
investigating leadership values and skills, such as empathy and critical thinking.
- Live Action Project (LAP):
Using what is learned in the classroom, students create original solutions to problems that arise in the built world.
Eligibility
1. A bachelor’s degree in any field.
