For the Women for Zero Hunger Programme 2023, applications are being accepted. Together, Stop Hunger and Women in Africa launched the Women for Zero Hunger prize program to support organizations working to end hunger and food insecurity in Africa because they believe in the ability and tenacity of women to help the most vulnerable communities escape hunger.

Women In Africa (WIA), which was established in 2016, is the first international platform devoted to the promotion of African women entrepreneurs and their economic development. At WIA, they are believed that Pan-African women significantly contribute to the change and impact they bring to the development of the continent through their acts.
The sole charitable endeavor of Sodexo is Stop Hunger, which promotes a world without hunger. The movement was started in 1996 by Sodexo associates in the United States. Since then, it has expanded internationally, today existing in 60 nations and collaborating with more than 300 NGOs.
Benefits
• A six-month, personalized mentoring program will be offered to three chosen associations by Stop Hunger and Women in Africa.
• Each of the three nonprofits will get €5,000. One of the three finalist associations will be selected by the jury members based on predetermined criteria at the conclusion of the mentoring period and will receive an additional €5,000 in financial support.
• The delegate will also receive an invitation to the annual Stop Hunger evening in Paris, where they will receive a trophy and take advantage of a crowdfunding campaign.
Eligibility
• Existing associations can participate in the program for at least three years;
• The association must work in one to several African Anglophone and/or Francophone countries. The association must be African or be represented in an African country.
Selection Standards
• Number of association members who have benefited
• The standard of the “solution”
• The “solution’s” ability to grow
Beneficiaries: Mostly women or girls must benefit from the solution.
Application
Applications from nonprofit organizations must be submitted along with a thorough application form. Women In Africa (WIA) will pre-select the top 10 nonprofits before presenting them to the program’s international jury, which will choose three organizations.
