Brief explanation:

 

The Science@Leuven Scholarships are available to talented and driven foreign students who are interested in taking part in an international master’s programme offered by the K.U.Leuven Faculty of Science.

Scholarship worth, components, and length:

 

The scholarship may be worth up to 10.000 Euros over the course of a year. The scholarship will always pay for a year’s worth of tuition, insurance, and minimal health coverage. The amount granted for living costs is subject to change.

 

The scholarship for the second master’s year of a two-year Master’s degree will only be maintained if the student received top marks in the first master’s year.

 

Eligibility:

 

The following prerequisites must be met and proven by applicants:

 

The following requirements must be met by the applicants:

·      They have never studied or worked at the University of Leuven;

·      They hold a bachelor’s degree from a foreign university that qualifies them for the master’s programme they are applying for;

·      They have not yet earned a master’s or a phd;

·      They can attest to having achieved excellent study results during their prior training;

·      And they can attest to having a very strong command of English (TOEFL, minimum score 94 internet-b).

• The applicants agree to represent the programme as an ambassador.

Application guidelines:

 

·      Candidates must use the KU Leuven application tool to apply for the Master programme of their choosing. When you register on the scholarship website, you must attach a screenshot proving that your admissions application was submitted correctly.

 

·      Only applications submitted (to the International Office and registered on the scholarship website) prior to February 15, 2023 will be taken into consideration for the scholarship.
