The African Development Bank’s Enable Youth Program hosts the annual AgriPitch competition as a way to bring together agripreneurs from all over the continent and increase the impact of their initiatives on agriculture and development.
Its overarching objective is to enhance the livelihoods of young people in both urban and rural areas by helping to create jobs, secure food and nutrition, and generate money.
The AgriPitch competition includes a two-week virtual boot camp where coaches, mentors, as well as investors instruct the young people, in investment readiness, business pitching, business and financing. Further, they instruct in proposal writing, market needs assessment, product development, identification of revenue channels, logistics, marketing, and business management.
The agripreneurs present their business plans to a panel of judges at the conclusion of the boot camp for the chance to win a cash reward.

Men and women in the agricultural sector between the ages of 18 and 35 are eligible to apply.
