The goal of the Music for Water campaign is to align JB Dondolo’s purpose of removing barriers to access to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene for impoverished communities. The program streams music and water simultaneously – Music for Water campaign 2022
This effort is a fundraising disguised as an all-inclusive annual song contest (see requirements to qualify and submit your water song). Participants’ songs gain attention and marketing through the competition, and they may be aired to tens of thousands of new listeners both domestically and abroad.
One of the top three (3) songs chosen (by the JB Dondolo, Inc. Board & Peggy Beatrice Foundation) will be recognized as the JB Dondolo “Song of the Year” by five (5) expert judges who are either employed by or directly related to the music industry.
In contrast to other song contests, Music for Water is a nonprofit initiative that uses music as a “global medium and ambassador” to raise awareness of the value of clean water around the world.
Each artist’s participation will be crucial in giving people who frequently go unnoticed a voice. As the campaign will act as a protagonist to increasing gender equity through the connection to clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, women and girls will also tremendously benefit from this musical competition.
JB Dondolo is aware of the urgent need to donate money to aid those in need because to the COVID-19 outbreak. The homeless population on Skid Row in Los Angeles, California, USA, is the intended beneficiary of the monies donated through this initiative. Throughout the campaign, we’ll look for a water song for charity and raise awareness of the philanthropic efforts being made all across the world.
