The program for leadership development
Our program is based on our foundation ideals of reconciliation, education, entrepreneurship, and leadership, as well as the belief that true leadership starts within. We want to honor Nelson Mandela’s legacy by providing young African leaders with the skills and fortitude they need to turn Africa into a nation where everyone has an equal chance to flourish. Our program is primarily offered through a series of week-long residential seminars that you will participate in throughout your stay – The Nelson Mandela Rhodes Scholarship is a once-in-a-lifetime leadership opportunity

monetary assistance
The Mandela Rhodes Scholarship provides full support for all of your study-related expenses. It pays for tuition at a recognized South African institution of higher education for a one-year Honours degree or a two-year Masters degree in any discipline. Tuition and registration fees, study materials, research, and medical aid allowances, lodging and food, personal allowance, and economy class transport to and from your home country to your South African university at the start and completion of your degree are all included. In addition, you will be given a personal allowance.
