Undergraduate Research Assistant / Intern — University of Calgary (Summer 2026)
Join the Undergraduate Research Assistants/Interns for a totally paid summer season place working 27 April – 14 August 2026 with The University of Calgary’s Department of Community Health Sciences. Students will help with participant recruitment, survey administration, information assortment (quantitative + qualitative), information evaluation, literature critiques, writing, neighborhood engagement, information mobilization, and different analysis duties related to main tasks equivalent to Transforming Lives of Black Youth and Precision Nutrition for Black Healthcare Professionals.
Ideal candidates are present undergraduate college students (ideally 2nd–third yr) in well being or social sciences with a minimal GPA of 3.5, sturdy writing and technical abilities, and lived or analysis expertise with Black and racialized communities. About the Role
Students will help analysis addressing well being inequities skilled by Black and racialized communities in Canada. Work contains:

Research assistants will be a part of one of two analysis areas:
• Transforming Lives of Black Youth (SSHRC Partnership Grant) — ~7 positions
• Precision Nutrition Project for Black Healthcare Professionals — ~3 positions
Eligibility & Preferences
Applicants should:
• Be a present undergraduate pupil (well being sciences, social sciences, or associated fields)
• Be registered as an undergraduate throughout Summer 2026
• Have a minimal GPA of 3.5
• Be Canadian citizen, PR, or legally permitted to work in Canada (worldwide college students not eligible)
• Be capable of work in particular person in Calgary
• Be keen to journey (together with cross-province journey for information assortment)
Preferences:
• Students in 2nd or third yr
