1.    Maintenance Mechanic – Generator | Kampala-2023-003 | 01.31.2023

 

EDUCATION: Secondary school graduation is necessary. It is necessary to complete a training course from a recognized institution that produces diesel engine mechanics for power generating.

 

Requirements:

 

Expertise: For big commercial sites like high-rise office buildings, a hospital or college campus, or for the neighborhood utility company, a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the operation, maintenance, and repair of prime or standby power generators is necessary. One year of which should be spent managing, maintaining, and repairing generators with a 1000 KVA or higher capacity.

2.    Asset Management Clerk | Kampala-2023-002 | 01.27.2023

 

Duties:

The incumbent is responsible for maintaining inventory control of the stored, purchased, and issued information technology assets for the International Cooperative Administrative Support Services (ICASS), Program, and non-State offices. This work is directly under the direct supervision of the Customer Service Supervisor. When necessary, he or she coordinates equipment repairs. He or she performs the annual inventory of all IT assets present in the General Services Office, Warehouse, Ambassador, and Deputy Chief of Mission residences, as well as the Embassy property. During busy times, he or she helps perform basic machine upgrades and moves equipment as needed to support the Information Systems Center (ISC) and Customer Service Center.

Duties:

Functioning as the operational, logistical, and administrative assistant in the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Coordination Office under the direct supervision of the PEPFAR Coordinator. The incumbent supports PEPFAR’s goals and objectives in Uganda and collaborates with local PEPFAR employees to ensure the effectiveness of activities funded by PEPFAR. The $400 million annual interagency Country Operational Plan (COP) preparation, administrative support of the office functions, including operational plan updates to budgets and program targets, and database maintenance are among the major responsibilities. These ensure that the interagency PEPFAR COP budget, activities, and approval requirements are coordinated throughout the program development, implementation, and review cycle.

 

 

 

EDUCATION: Two years of normal college or university coursework must be completed.

 

 

EXPERIENCE: A minimum of three years of progressively responsible experience in administration, program/project management, and collaboration with more senior staff members within the organization, is required.
